17th – 18th Century reproductions of 1556 and 1561 Benitiers. Depicting Joanes Leizarrage 1506-1601 a Basque priest who was first to translate the New Testament into Basque. Originally used for holy water, they have been repurposed for today’s use in a modern home. The Benitiers have been reproduced since the 17th century and are a tribute to Leizarrage.  Cast bronze
